I see your product has a drop down box to select a finish, it is listed only as powdercoated to select, will you be offering a different finish in the future? I am very interest in this design and fitment for the oem modular steel bumper. Very nice work. Bronco has been built and i am awaiting shipment. Thank you

The only option we offer is a textured black finish that is very similar to the factory steel bumper finish.

From the looks, this will not interfere with the camera and adaptive cruise control. Is that correct?
A
12/14/2021, 5:35:57 PM
Correct, although you may see some of the hoop in view of the camera, it does not block it.

I understand you are also working on a winch mount solution that would works with the factory Mod/Steel bumper. Since this Hoop bar is also designed for the Mod/Steel bumper, would it also fit if I were to add your winch mount solution when that is available? Seems like they would make a great combination!
A

Yes, it will!

Does this work for the capable bumper or is it ONLY the mod bumper?
A
12/20/2021, 10:30:20 AM
This will only work for the factory Bronco steel bumper.
Q

Will this work with the 360 camera? (i.e. it doesn't get in the camera's way, does it?)
A
12/21/2021, 10:34:07 AM
Yes, it does not get in the way of the camera.

will you be coming out with one that works with the stock Black Diamond Capable front bumper ? this is the standard bumper on Badlands and Black Diamond models
A

We will not.
Q

Can you take the ends off the mod bumper and still attach the side supports of the brush guard?
A
01/24/2022, 2:08:05 PM
You could with some spacers under the brush guard end plates (to make up the thickness of the mod bumper end caps being gone) but the brush guard would stick out kind of awkwardly.
Q
Keith • 02/04/2022, 1:22:43 PM
Since the two inner most screws on the top of the bumper are used for mounting, would you still be able to mount a light bar in the middle?
A
02/04/2022, 1:51:28 PM
There is extra length to the bolts provided so the lightbar mounts could be mounted over the tube plate. This would depend on the shape/size of the light brackets. They may need to be modified.

What is the additional length this will add to the length of the Bronco? I’m concerned about fitting in my garage.
A

It's around 4" in front of the face of the D-ring tabs.

Is this compatible with a relocated ACC sensor?
A
10/11/2022, 4:57:12 PM
Using Ford's specs on the sensor, the tube would technically be in the path of the radar if your sensor is relocated to the driver's top behind the grill. We haven't tested its effectiveness, however.

Hi! Will this work on the Bronco Raptor since the front bumper is slightly different on it? Thx
A
10/11/2022, 5:34:41 PM
Yes, it's the same MOD bumper, just in a 2-tone color.
Q
Mike • 01/06/2023, 9:26:06 AM
Related to previous question about compatibility, will the hoop block existing ACC sensor on 2022 4-door?
A
01/10/2023, 12:46:16 PM
The ACC sensor on the Bronco is in the center of the bumper, this tube will not be in the way of it.

If I get the Pre-runner bolt on hoop now - will it allow a ZEON 10-S WARN or similar to be mounted later? Would prefer to not have to switch out completely but love the look of this. Ordering as soon as you confirm! ;)
A

Yes, this Pre-Runner bar works with our winch plate.

I did some research on the Bronco forums before coming here, so I had a fairly good idea what to expect. There's always a little concern with paying before construction of a part starts, but the process went quickly and communication was good. Shipping was well packaged-solid box and excellent foam support.
Installation went well. I used mostly the original Ford bolts because I like the look of the Torx connectors and the solid black vs the black chrome look of the JCO bolts. There are two that you can't get at under the headlights-those you'll have to use the JCO because the bar is right above the bolt head and you'll need an open-end wrench to finish tightening. I was concerned because the mounting points are pretty inflexible but the bar mounted right up.
One of the reasons I chose this bar was protection for the lights-vs the Ford version. It does block some of the Bronco logo, unlike the new Ford bar. You can see the bar on the front camera, but only at the top sides, not something that matters in the greater scheme of things (the license plate frame and bumper block the bottom of the camera a little, which matters a lot more.
Overall very happy, especially compared to the problems installing the rock rails/steps.
