Already installed my panels on my Gladiator Overland. Would love to get the same Fire Extinguisher Holders you use on your pictures. Any pointers on that?

My hard top bolt is covered by the wire cover, will this still work or will I need to leave the cover off?
Since this is bolted to the roll bar and roof bolt, wouldn't you have to remove this to remove the roof?
A
02/09/2024, 10:57:16 AM
Yes, that cover would need to be removed. You would need to remove the lower bolt when removing your top, but it can be reinstalled after you remove the top in order to run this panel without a top.

Maybe this is obvious, but if you plan on using these panels to mount anything that stands off more than 3 inches from the panel, like fire extinguishers and first aide kits, you might reconsider. Maybe my 2021 gladiator is different. There is no way to mount anything on these panels that won't cause problems raising or lowering the seats. Yes, your photo and many reviews suggest otherwise.
I like these panels in my gladiator, but I discovered anything mounted on these panels can block the seat backs when they are raised or lowered, and can also hide or bind the rear passenger-side seat belt.
I could not mount the 4.5 inch fire extinguisher, similar to the one you have in your marketing photo. Instead, I mounted a smaller, 3.25 inch extinguisher on a base that rotates out of the way when the seats are raised or lowered.
Maybe a better solution is to mount anything with a 3 inch or larger stand off somewhere else.
