When you need maximum protection, recovery options, and a modular swing-out system, our Vanguard rear bumper is the perfect choice. This made-in-the-USA bumper features integrated cube light mounts, 3/4" recovery tabs, and built-in provisions for dual swing-outs that can be added or removed at any time! (Sold separately.) The bumper is coated in a two-stage satin textured black powder coat over a durable zinc primer finish.
* Backup sensors pulled from factory steel bumpers will need (4) qty Mopar part# 6MH85RXFAB to install sensors into the JCR bumper.
¹ This bumper has been optimized for offroad performance where high clearance is needed. As a result, this hitch receiver is located higher than the stock position and may require a drop hitch depending on your towing needs and lift height.
² Designed to support the loads of the factory tow capacity, but carries no SAE certification, nor is it designed to meet any DOT or FMCSA regulation.
We produce these products in a low volume compared to the OEMs or aftermarket receiver hitch companies. As such, it's not feasible for us to get this product tested against SAE J684 specifications or design it meet specific DOT or FMCSA regulations. So while we try to over-engineer our products with the loads of the factory vehicle capacity in mind; towing a trailer on public highways is at your own risk and we make no claims on the legality or viability of doing so. We cannot offer any recommendations on capacity beyond this. If the ratings of the factory receiver hitch are important to you, we would recommend choosing a bumper that keeps that in place.

I noticed in the description that larger tires will not fit in the factory location.
The factory spare location can support a max 34.5" OD (measured) tire with this bumper installed.
Many of us can fit a 35 inch or 37 inch tire in the spare location. What is different with your bumper that is not allowing this? I'd really like to keep my spare in the original location but I really like how your bumper has the hitch behind the license plate!

The built-in hidden hitch is what would limit the spare tire size.

How far does this stick out in comparison to the factory bumper?

That is not a measurement that we have, however our bumper measures roughly 10" to the end of the d-rings if measured from the pinch seam below the tailgate.
