1) this appears to be a “half rack” meaning it’s not the full cargo space, but more of a shelf correct?
2) Will this work with a factory soft top?
3) If so, does the soft top have room to fold down since it’s a half rack?

We haven't tested it, but they do mount to the same place. So guessing they are not compatible.

Wondering if you've had a chance to try this with the Sky One Touch Roof yet? I don't really see any reason why this wouldn't fit, but before I order I wanted to check to be sure it would work?

The plastic piece that covers the mounting holes does not get reinstalled, that is where the basket mounts are located.

Hi there,
Was looking at your JK interior cargo basket and was wondering if you still had the brackets from your install video vs what you’re showing in the pics. Is there a difference in stiffness from one to the other?

The brackets shown in the video were updated to the current version that are now included with the basket. There weren't any real differences in stiffness between the two, but the current version now works with both hard top and soft top whereas the older style only worked with the hard top.

Love this for increasing my storage when we take day trips to the sand dunes. Great for strapping down sleeping bags, chairs etc. Appreciate the tie down points to secure things from bouncing around on the trail

I was wanting a cargo basket that would hang on the roll bars and not have to mount where the roof connects. I have a Plano cargo box in the rear of my Jeep with recovery equipment and wanted something that would sit/hang above it that and this is perfect! It was a pain to go grocery shopping with the Plano cargo box in the rear and I didn't want to continually fold my seats down to either load groceries in the back seat or push the cargo box forward, which I actually have the Plano cargo box secured with a lock and chain. JCR Offroad's cargo rack is very solid and the price is very reasonable, especially compared to all the others I researched. There are plenty of tie-down areas, which I use a bungie strap when I load up groceries so they don't slide around. I would HIGHLY recommend this to anyone looking to gain some extra cargo storage.

Solid rack. Easy install and a great way to utilize storage space in the JL. 3 star rating is due to the powder coating- non uniform, "splash" spots on the sides and basket. Did not have this issue with the roof rack I installed from JCR.

Product has good quality, but the JL version does not work with a factory soft top unless you modify the mounting brackets
