We designed the basket around 2-gallon cans, we haven't tried 3 gallons cans on there as they will likely hit the tire.
Q
Scott • 02/14/2023, 8:40:01 PM
Will this work on a 2000 Ford SVT Contour? I assume since both Ford's yes. If so will it work with a 3" lift and staggered tires? Last question, how many hot dogs can it hold?
A
02/14/2023, 8:49:36 PM
Dearest Scott,
Sure will, strap this bad boy on your roof with some harbor freight green ratchet straps through the door frames and roll up those purple tinted windows. Lift doesn't matter but your Contour sounds dope. What's your favorite flavor vape?
Hot dog capacity is classified, but rest assured, it's more than a man can handle.
Keep it rubber side down brah.
Q
Zach • 02/16/2023, 2:18:34 PM

A
02/23/2023, 1:50:18 PM

A
03/13/2023, 4:14:43 PM
We haven't tried to mount a tank to it. We would stick to 5lb tanks as they weight about 15 lbs loaded.
Q
Shierei Huang • 03/01/2023, 1:38:40 AM
Will the basket contact the back of the Bronco if the tailgate is fully open?
A
03/13/2023, 4:49:56 PM
Not with accessories mounted as shown with the stock spare tire mount. If you are running this on one of our adventure carriers, it could depend on what you mount on it, and how far offset the tire is on our carrier.
Q
Felipe Hernandez • 03/18/2023, 12:20:34 PM
Is it possible to add recovery tracks on the rear face instead of in the basket on top
A
03/30/2023, 3:37:00 PM
Not really an easy way to attach them to the race face.
Q
Bret • 03/24/2023, 1:42:07 PM
If I pair this with your tailgate reinforcement, what is the weight capacity for storage?
A
03/30/2023, 3:55:08 PM
The only official capacity we have on the tailgate reinforcement is that it will handle up to a 37" tire. Beyond that, loading the factory gate would be at your discretion.

No, the sides of the basket are not removeable.
Q
Jason Cress • 04/22/2024, 0:18:26 AM
Can you show pictures of how this mounts?is it just short ratchet straps that go through the rim and back to the other side of the basket?
A
05/17/2024, 11:40:27 AM
Yes, the two ratchet straps are what attach the basket to the spare. Mounting diagrams can be seen here.

Q
Michael Horton • 04/23/2024, 4:18:03 AM
Will this work on Bronco Black Diamond “steelies”? Is the strap able to go through the wheel slot without eventually rubbing through, or are the straps long enough to go circumference of tire?
A
07/17/2024, 10:46:49 AM
As long as the spare tire is within 32"-40" in diameter, the wheel should not make a difference. If you are concerned about the straps rubbing on a steel wheel, you could use an edge trim on the wheel where it contacts the strap.

Although I've only gotten pizza twice since installation, this carried the load with absolutely no issues. Keeping the pizza in the bright Arizona sun is really brilliant as it was piping hot when I got home. The 2 liter soda attachment worked for both cola and diet but I have not tried it with the Mountain Dew shown in the picture.
I am considering trying this with hot sandwiches next weekend if my schedule allows.
* Of course, this was entered entirely in jest and I hope you find reviewing and denying this review funny and not offensive in any way. The product is very cool and reminded me I need to get a murder spork as shown and this to mount it on.
Note From JcrOffroad: haha, thanks for the review!
