My cubby DID NOT come with the banana holster as pictured. You have no idea how long I have been scouring the internet looking for a banana holster for my XJ, and for some unknown reason, NO ONE thinks it necessary to make one. Defeated, I was perusing the internet for XJ accessories, and BOOM, this item popped up. I wasn't particularly looking for a cubby improver 3000, but when I saw the banana holster, I knew I had to have it. I purchased for the very fair price, and awaited shipping. Once it arrived, I ripped open the box like an 8 year old opening up a long skinny air rifle shaped box on Christmas morning, eager to shoot his eye out. However, after I pulled out the hardware and metal cubby improver 3000, I saw nothing else. I called the company to inquire about the banana holster that should have been in my order, and after a long awkward pause....I heard uncontrollable laughing in the back ground, and then strangely....the call was disconnected....I have pretty poor phone service, so I don't make much of it. The man was very polite on the phone, so I will call it even. But in the end, I am still banana holster-less, so now my banana just flops around all willy-nilly in my XJ, especially when wheeling off road, and my banana gets all bruised and beaten up. Sad day. Bottom line - buy it to make your cubby space useful, for that, I give 5 stars. However, do not be fooled by the falsely advertised banana holster.
