one loose nutsert :(
(Florida) | January 29th, 2022
Used these to install a hitch, so this product was probably overkill. pulled the rear bumper and mounts. Pax side had a factory XJ strip already installed. There are rivets to drill or chisel out before you can remove this strip. The only problem was one of the nut serts on the strip didn't hold when tightening everything down. I can see it spinning on the strip. of course, I can't reach it with a tool so I must live with it. This bolt will have to be cut out so I hope I never have to deal with it again..

These nut strips are incredibly stout, and well built. but my only issue was that the nuts were just a little too big to fit into the hole in my frame rails. When inserting these, I had to enlarge the holes slightly to be able to slide the strips in.
