How do I know i need the steering box brace/spacer if I have a 3" lift and use 30×9.5×15 tires? Can one tell if the stock brace/spacer is broken?
A

You would have to pull the factory spacer to see if it's broken, but if you go that far you may as well replace it.

Is this bracket compatible with Durango steering boxes? Thanks
A

Yes, but you may need to add a couple washers between the inner brace and box. You can test fit the brace on the bench to see how many (if any) you will need. Make sure you have proper thread engagement after adding any washers.

Can this be installed without cutting? I have a stock height, stock suspension XJ and I want to retain the factory bumpers. Is it worth opting for the full Unibody Tie-In Kit for $100 more? Even if I am staying at stock height and stock bumpers? Thanks!
A

We'd recommend just the spacer if you are staying stock. No cutting required!
